INVEST brings together startups and private investors who believe in bold ideas. The support program mobilizes more private venture capital from business angels, thereby helping startups find investors more easily.

• For investors, INVEST reduces the risk associated with equity investments. Investors receive a portion of the amount they invest in a young, innovative company back. Their shares, however, remain entirely in their possession
• If the investor sells his or her shares after a minimum holding period of three years, he or she is not required to repay the acquisition grant. In addition, the investor may receive a lump-sum refund of taxes on gains realized upon the sale of the acquired shares through the exit grant (applies only to individuals).
